“The Way Of The Lord: HE CAUSES US….”

What’s going on everyone! I thought I would share this bit of understanding with you, as I think it will help all of us in both the short- and long-term:

Take a moment and look at the verses below, and see if you see a pattern in this:

“…It is not good that the man should be alone; I WILL MAKE him an help meet…” (Genesis 2:18)

“And I WILL ESTABLISH my covenant with you;….” (Genesis 9:11)

“And I WILL MAKE of thee a great nation, and I WILL BLESS thee, and make thy name great…” (Genesis 12:2)

“And I WILL GIVE them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever…” (Jeremiah 32:39)

“I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I WILL DO it…” (Ezekiel 24:14)

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I WILL TAKE AWAY the stony heart out of your flesh… And I WILL PUT my spirit within you, and CAUSE YOU to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

Did you see the pattern? I know I helped you (lol)…. I don’t know if you have noticed, but throughout the bible, there are phrases that the Lord uses on a consistent basis (which is, “I will make you…”, “I will give you…”, “I will establish…”, “I will put…”, etc.), which means that HE IS THE ONE DOING THE WORK, not us!….

Too often, we have been saying that we are TRYING to live right, trying to love someone, trying to go to work with our mind stayed on Him, and trying this, and trying that, etc., etc. The truth is, for those of us who have His Spirit, one of the ways of the Lord is that THERE IS NO TRYING. If we have His Spirit, we either DO or DON’T DO something. We never try anything…. So, if someone says to you that they are “trying” something, then you know that 9 times out of 10, they will fail at what they are trying, because our flesh is made to fail (heavy!!!)…

The point of this note is to let you know that HE CAUSES US to do what He said. HE DOES ALL THE WORK IN US to “conform us into His image” (Romans 8:29), so there is no need for us to try to conform ourselves into His image. Besides, no matter how hard we “try” to do that, we end up backsliding somewhere along the way, or end up falling for something because we got tired of trying to live right, etc.

If you received some REVELATION from this, please let me know. Just so you know, this was not put on here to condemn anyone. We who have His Spirit simply testify of Him, and share understanding of His will and way in the earth so that He can do the “extremely tough work” of drawing people (who have many different mindsets and situations and circumstances!) to Himself…. This just might turn into a series of articles that I’ll be writing here on Facebook so that people will be able to see and understand Him in an unconventional way, but yet in a way that is “ridiculously simple” (as it has been for me thus far)….
